The 30-year-old birdied his final six holes in Thursday’s opening round at the Web.com Tour Championship to fire a 12-under 59 – the seventh sub-60 score in Web.com Tour history.
Volunteers clear Johansen Park of storm debris in advance of Web.com Tour Championship
If a group of volunteers hadn’t banded together on Thursday to clear Johansen Park in Atlantic Beach of debris created by Hurricane Irma, it might not have gotten done. With rakes, shovels and large garbage bags, a group cleared an area that will be used for volunteer, caddie, player support, vendors and VIP parking for the upcoming Web.com Tour Championship that will be played at the Atlantic Beach Country Club Sept. 28-Oct. 1.

The $1 million Web.com Tour Championship, set for the week of October 3-9, will be the fourth and final event in the season-ending Web.com Tour Finals, where a second set of 25 PGA TOUR cards for the 2016-17 season will be awarded.
Tickets for Web.com Tour Championship at Atlantic Beach Country Club now available
PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – The Web.com Tour today launched daily grounds tickets for the season-ending Web.com Tour Championship, to be contested at Atlantic Beach Country Club in Atlantic Beach, Fla., the week of October 3-9, 2016. The $1 million event will be the fourth and final tournament in the Web.com Tour Finals, where all 50 PGA TOUR cards for the 2016-17 season will be formally awarded. Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla. will serve as the main beneficiary of the event.
