“It’s been quite a journey this year,” McCarthy said. “The PGA TOUR was tough to start out the year and stuck through it and got my game, [I] raised my level and have been playing some really good golf. Just feels incredible to finish off these Finals. So much work behind the scenes that nobody really sees. I have a great team, they’ve been tremendous throughout the whole process.”
The 2018 Web.com Tour season came to a close on Sunday in Atlantic Beach, Florida, as the Web.com Tour Championship wrapped up the sixth-annual Web.com Tour Finals. University of Virginia alum Denny McCarthy won the season-ending event, where 25 players secured their PGA TOUR cards for the 2018-19 season.

For a third straight year, the Web.com Tour season will conclude with the Web.com Tour Championship at Atlantic Beach Country Club in Atlantic Beach, Florida. The annual event, which will help determine which players earn one of 50 available PGA TOUR cards, will feature a host of enhanced onsite experiences for fans, who will have the ability to gain complimentary entry courtesy of the Tour’s umbrella partner, Web.com.
